Alsco is looking to hire a friendly, enthusiastic candidate for a Sales Consultant position. The successful candidate must have at least two years of business to business sales experience. The main function of the Sales Consultant is to promote and sell products and merchandise in assigned territory.
The sales representative must have the ability to work independently to achieve the company's sales quota, utilizing cold calls, customer referrals, and other lead sources. This position represents the company to its customers, and the sales representative must present a positive, business-like personal appearance and attitude when calling on current or prospective customers. This position is also responsible for completing reports, following up with managers to ensure account remains in good status and orders are processed in an accurate and timely manner, drafting proposals, attending meetings, and other duties as needed. This full time sales position has a monthly sales quota and is a base-plus commission compensation structure position.
* Successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent computer skills, with proficiency in MS Word and Excel preferable.
* Dependable transportation and valid driver's license required.
* Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
* Must pass an employment background check and drug screen.
* Sitting and/or standing for long periods of time, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 35 lbs. *Must be able to drive a vehicle.
