About the Job

What you will do


This role will be part of our Inside Sales Team for Controls & BAS Products North American. This internship will be located in Milwaukee, WI and is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives.  As part of your internship, you will gain experience in the following areas:



  • Gather product data and organize in a functional database

  • Use innovative methods to create a sustainable process for managing the database


How you will do it: 



  • Gathers data, including; product literature, product images, technical literature, and product performance data

  • Builds spreadsheet models to analyze, organize, and share the data.

  • Interact with sales team, product managers, and directly with customers to confirm data

  • Assist in finding and implementing innovation ways for cloud storage for product images and documentation

  • Assists in preparation of presentations for project plans, strategy and timeline progress

  • Develop and manage customer contact lists for digital marketing campaigns

  • Coordinate with marketing on how to continually update contact lists for accuracy

  • Perform other duties/projects as assigned


 

Duration: Full-time (40 hours/week) summer internship with the potential to continue part-time in the fall based on project timeline.

What we look for


Required Qualifications:


  • Currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited US university

  • Currently a sophomore or junior pursuing a Business or Engineering or Management Information Systems degree

  • Ability to work effectively in a highly energetic and multiple-engagement environment, dedication to teamwork, a strong work initiative, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas.

  • Strong technical proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft products


    • Excel skills must be sharp with knowledge of pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and some advanced coding


  • Detail oriented

  • Strong communication and organization skills

  • Ideal candidate will have an interest in learning about the HVAC/R industry and about how business-to-business sales work.

  • U. S. Citizen or legal right to work in the U. S.

  • Local Milwaukee area are preferred so the internship can continue throughout the fall semester
