Sales Engineer


This person will be in charge of technical sales of protection, control, metering, and communication devices to the electric power industry, with emphasis in the electrical utility and wind power markets.


This position requires technical knowledge of the product features and their application in electrical transmission and distribution. Job duties involve identification of leads, technical presentations, and potential customer follow up. The company participates in several trade shows and industry conferences during the year.


The position requires continuous collaboration with the existing manufacturer representatives, and opportunity to assist in the expansion of the sales network.


Travel required in North America, 60-70% of the time.

Requirements:


  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge in electric power systems.
  • Knowledge of protective relaying and substation control systems and communications.
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
  • Native English speaker. Knowledge of Spanish language is a plus.
