Sales Estimator for Fence Company
About the Job
We are an established fence company that is based in Livermore. We are
looking to hire a sales estimator. An average day will consist of
working directly with the owner to complete various tasks assigned and
taking measurements and writing up estimates for various types of
fence. Your job is to write up the estimate and sell the job. The area
our company services is all of northern California, but mostly the
greater Bay Area. Your day will consist of lots of driving. Some
construction knowledge is helpful, but not required. Sales experience
is beneficial. This job is NOT for someone who is lazy, unorganized and
can't follow through. We have high expectations.
Requirements (PLEASE do NOT apply if you do not meet all of these):
-Must have good DMV record and CA driver's license
-Must submit to drug/alcohol testing
-Must be motivated and prepared to work LONG hours. Your day generally begins at 6:30am.
-Must be able to sell the job and follow through and complete tasks assigned.
-Must have good communication skills- both written and verbal
-Must be organized and a self starter
-Must have excellent customer service. Most of the work you will be doing will be selling fence to homeowners.
-Must have professional appearance and attitude.
