We are seeking dynamic and highly motivated individuals who are able to thrive as independent contractors of Veridian Strategies that can effectively prospect and close new business opportunities in markets across the US.  This position will be a critical component of a national sales team that will drive new business opportunities by selling Health IT solutions to physicians while maintaining long lasting relationships.  This is a 1099 independent contract position.


 


At plan, the annual income is expected to reach $120K with uncapped upside opportunity.  This position is a commission only opportunity.  This position also offers the opportunity for successful sales executives to quickly advance into management responsibilities with increased income potential.


 


Due to the recent infusion of over $20 billion into the IT market, sales executives will be able to sell best-in-class solutions that are reimbursable by the federal government.   This creates an opportunity for experienced sales executives who have a passion for success to thrive within one of the fastest growing markets. 


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:


·         Develop, implement, and execute an annual sales plan within an assigned geographic region that includes quota and market share growth


·         Achieve annual sales targets by effectively prospecting, qualifying, and closing opportunities within assigned region


·         Establish and maintain relationships with all key individuals within each opportunity, including physician, office manager, etc.


·         Perform sales presentations and product demonstrations


·         Coordinate local marketing activities with corporate marketing campaigns and initiatives


·         Maintain high level of product and competitive knowledge


·         Report progress on regular basis


Desired Characteristics:


·         Excellent prospecting, new client generation and negotiation skills


·         Successful value-based sales track record


·         Understanding of physician practices


·         Desire to work in a small company environment


·         Understanding of the Health IT Industry


·         Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft applications


·         Well organized and is able to operate under little supervision


·         Must be enthusiastic and positive


·         Strong communication, problem solving and investigative skills an optimist at heart and passionate about     their products.


Education/Experience Requirements:


·         5+ years of direct sales experience with a proven track record


·         4 Year College Degree preferred


·         Must have a car and laptop for use with physician office visits
