Clements International is the leading provider of insurance for expatriates, international schools, multinational businesses and relief organizations. Founded in 1947, Clements specializes in providing insurance solutions for high risk operations, including war, terrorism, political risk, and kidnap and ransom. Clements also offer worldwide auto, property and group medical coverage, in addition to worker’s compensation, personal accident, Directors & Officers Liability, and Errors & Omissions insurance.


 


We are currently in need of a Sales Executive/Producer to add to our growing Commercial Lines sales team.  Our clients represent small to mid-size companies outside of their home country, some of which may have a Risk Manager and/or global operations, whose needs vary depending on industry, size, geography and the competitive environment in which they operate. These clients tend to be highly entrepreneurial and expect us to provide expertise and tailored solutions for firms in their industry. They generally represent high volumes, basic to complex risks, and require a moderate level of services with high revenue potential.   


 


Responsibilities include:


 



  • Generates sales through positive business relationships built on mutual trust;

  • Identifies key decision makers, clients, or prospects risks needs and determines the services, products, and combinations to offer that will best serve and address the client/prospect's issues and objectives;

  • Gathers internal and external information including: industry risk profile, benchmarking, client strategic goals and objectives, market conditions report, total cost of risk, and current services;

  • Provides leadership and expertise in industry, and actively participates in industry associations, organizations, boards and charities;

  • Develops and maintains effective network within the business community and industry.  

 


 


Competencies include:                                                  


 



  • Demonstrable record of success in a sales role and/or equivalent technical knowledge in service;

  • International experience preferred – candidate should be conversant with Lloyd’s and international market products.

  • Past experience with insurance intermediary/broker type organizations
