We are expanding our sales force. This position will be responsible for the New Territory in the following states: AR, LA, MS, AL, SC, GA, and FL.
The Sales Executive (also referred to as Account Executive) is responsible for all assigned sales activities. Assignments may be account based, geography based, or a combination of the two. All WAUSAU Financial Systems (WFS) solutions are available and the Sales Executive will handle total sales functions from lead generation and follow-up to completed sale. Also responsible for establishing sales forecast, budgets, and expenses related to sales activity. The Sales Executive is responsible for net new business and existing business. In some cases a new Sales Executive may not be assigned existing accounts and be solely focused on net new business.
1. Manages the activity and health of their territory’s sales funnel to ensure successful attainment of their annual Sales Objective.
2. Generates leads and follows-up on all leads generated by various sources and submitted to WFS, analyzing and qualifying potential prospects.
3. Prepares all survey, configuration, proposal, and follow-up reporting documentation.
4. Proficient in presenting all WFS solutions.
5. Works closely with appropriate Sales Engineer in order to coordinate demonstrations and complete RFP requests.
6. Participates in installation process with the Project Manager.
7. Works with VP of Sales to develop an annual territory plan outlining critical areas of focus and activities to ensure attainment of their annual sales objective.
8. Provides territory and opportunity updates via Microsoft CRM per management direction to demonstrate progress towards closing specific opportunities and achievement of annual Sales Objective.
9. Uses Microsoft CRM to track critical conversations and emails with clients and prospects.
10. Performs field promotional work to develop and sell new business through participation in Road Shows, and Trade Shows.
11. Furthers professional sales training and knowledge of Payments Industry trends.
12. Provides input to Sales and Product Management.
13. Effectively manages expenses and utilization of corporate resources per corporate guidelines.
14. Understands and is proficient in working with and providing basic user support of Personal Computers. Should be proficient in the use of Microsoft CRM, WORD, Excel, and PowerPoint and able to effectively function using these tools in a remote environment.
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience.
· Five to ten years sales experience within the Payments Industry.
· Sales experience should include complex software solution sales.
