What you will do

We keep adding technology, capabilities and expertise that help us accurately understand consumer behavior throughout the entire shopping life-cycle. We’re a retail analytics company, in the business of driving efficiency and profitability.




How you will do it


As a Mid-Market Sales Executive, you will plan and execute selling efforts for an assigned territory, targeting retailers with 75 stores or less. The objective is to drive growth by selling ShopperTrak services, focusing primarily on business development. This role is based in Chicago and involves travel approximately 10-20% of the time.



  • Directly responsible for the promotion and sale of ShopperTrak offerings

  • Achieve assigned quotas for growth and re-occurring revenue

  • Keep manager informed of territory progress, and provide designated reports on a regular basis

  • Prospect assigned territory for new targets and sales opportunities

  • Work closely with ShopperTrak teams to ensure proper service delivery and customer satisfaction

  • Develop business plans for current clients in order to grow accounts

  • Produce proposals and conduct negotiations for sales opportunities

  • Collaborate with manager and finance department to produce contracts in accordance with ShopperTrak policies

  • Gather competitive intelligence on other market players to support sales strategy

  • Conduct administrative tasks in accordance with company policy to support sales efforts (travel, expenses, etc.).










What we look for 


Required



  1. One or more (1+) years of B2B sales experience

  2. Business development experience with a strong hunter/prospecting mentality

  3. Well-organized, self-starter, and a team player

  4. Strong communication skills with experience developing and presenting clear and concise sales presentations

  5. Able to work independently and manage a complex workload

  6. Solid understanding of sales cycles and pipeline management

  7. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications

  8. Experience with CRM tools

  9. Strong command of the English language


Preferred

  1. Experience selling into a retail environment

  2. Experience with salesforce.com

  3. BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or Communications
