Factory Sales Representative
Blockhouse Company is an industry leader in contract furniture. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Factory Sales Representative to join the York based Blockhouse team selling contract furniture. Candidates should possess a strong self-confidence and excellent communication skills. Prior sales experience is preferred, but not required.
You will be responsible for selling to customers in Colleges, Universities, Health Care facilities, and Government/Military bases. Regular overnight travel will be required. Training will be provided and we have an experienced inside support team to help with the sales process. We will assist you so you will succeed! Salary is commensurate with qualifications, plus commission and reimbursement for expenses. (See below)
Qualifications/Responsibilities:
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Ability to make 40+ prospecting phone calls a day to start the sales cycle
· Ability to understand customer needs and requirements.
· Team player with a positive attitude.
· Able to present and communicate the unique advantages of Blockhouse products.
· Ability to manage entire sales process from prospecting through close.
· Results driven, able to manage time effectively and achieve sales quotas.
· Travel in the field to be approx 12 weeks per year, done one week at a time.
