Incentive Business Analyst responsible for modeling,
implementing and administering sales compensation programs, policies and
procedures. This position will manage sales and related incentive programs to
ensure compensation programs are effective in attaining critical business
results. Key responsibilities include:
Act as key point person for agents,
responsible for communicating compensation plan details and the impact of the
plans to individuals.
Design and create
tools and processes necessary to support the sales incentive compensation
programs.
Design and develop
databases of relevant information including competitive market data for use in
preparing management reports, trends, forecasts and future plans.
Develop
compensation models and reports and develop
recommendations that impact the
company’s bottom line.
Conduct detailed
ad-hoc analysis to determine effectiveness of programs.
Manage
special projects such as aggressive compensation tests in certain markets.
Evaluate
design alternatives and cost implications for all sales compensation related
programs, including spiffs and other ancillary reward programs that support
core sales incentive plan.
Present
and sell improvements to existing pay programs and new compensation practices
and tools.
Two to five plus years of experience as a business, financial, pricing or
sales compensation analyst role.
Financial
acumen and proven ability to develop cost analysis modeling.
Excellent
communication and presentation skills to deal effectively with sales agents and
to persuasively deliver and sell proposals to senior management.
Demonstrated
proficiency with Microsoft applications with proven ability to manipulate and
analyze data in excel.
Knowledge
of current compensation theory and trends related to sales incentive and
variable pay plans.
Ability
to handle a high volume of work in various stages of completion and
successfully bring to completion on schedule.
Bachelor's
degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources or related field.
Experience
in sales operations or pricing analyst in a dynamic industry.
Experience
with sales incentive software products a plus.
