SALES MANAGER Established home furnishings company in Columbus area is seeking a sales manager who can motivate and grow a commissioned sales team as well as hourly support personnel. Job duties include the daily operation of a 10 million year facility, conducting sales meetings, interacting with customers on a daily basis, closing manager duties on a rotating basis which includes evenings and week-end shifts, recruiting and training new associates, and interaction with company vendors. Job requirements include the ability to motivate and coach others, the skills to independently solve problems, yet thrive in a team environment, at least three years retail management experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of exceeding customers expectations.
