Sales Lead Generation Associate


We are seeking a motivated individual to join our sales department as a Sales Lead Generation Associate.  This position will be responsible for making telephone contact with prospects to qualify potential customers in both the traditional collections/legal market and in all areas of Business Development focus.  This position will work directly with the sales people, supporting their sales and customer service goals.  Ideal candidates must be confident and thrive in a fast-paced, high volume environment.  This is a newly created position with strong potential for growth.

This position offers a hourly base pay with the opportunity to earn bonus and commission



  Responsibilities include:

  • Lead generation and qualification

  • Making outbound calls; determine contact for each company

  • Documentation of information collected

  • Working with the sales staff ensuring leads are directed correctly

  • Work with Marketing staff to ensure call lists match up to current calling effort

  • Follow up with prospects that were unreachable to ensure contact has been made

  • Enter information into the Customer Relationship Manager Database

  • Interaction with sales representatives to follow up with interested leads

  • Accurately track data and maintain expected call volume


   

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

  • Comfort spending 75% or more of the day placing outbound phone calls

  • Experience of at least 1 year in an office setting.

  • Strong verbal communication skills and influencing sales/presentation skills for telephone sales

  • Demonstrated ability to follow up, stay motivated, and focused on meeting goals

  • Determination, dedication and self confidence 

  • Dependability and reliability are essential

  • Excellent PC skills (Word, Excel, Internet research, database management)

  • Ability to communicate internally peer-to-peer and with management
