Position Description:
Consistently holds staff accountable to achieve goals; Maintains a personal, aggressive sales approach which serves as a standard of excellence in customer service for the staff.
Consistently holds staff accountable to achieve goals by enforcing link selling techniques to increase Average Dollar Sale (ADS) and units per transactions (UPT) through training and direction of the sales staff.
Assists Shop Manager in enthusiastically executing events, promotions, and contests.
Supervision of the selling floor when Shop Manager is not present; leads the sales staff through example.
Assumes an active role in recruiting and interviewing candidates for sales and management positions.
Assists in training new hires.
Develops a management communication style conducive to achieving results through positive motivation of staff.
Maintains a high level of professionalism and personal image in compliance with Corporate standards.
Monitors working schedule for compliance with state and federal regulations.
Effectively implements Launch Packs with urgency in conjunction with Corporate direction.
Ensures backstock is rotated.
Executes all markdowns and promotions in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintains a neat, clean, clutter free shop.
Shares accountability with Management team for shortage results within established guidelines.
Assists Shop Manager in maintaining administrative paperwork and procedures affecting shrinkage.
Is continually aware of shortage problems and monitors them as part of the floor coverage; reports all observations to Shop Manager.
Monitors and ensures accuracy of markdowns and promotions.
Adheres to Corporate policy and procedures as outlined in all shop manuals.
Exercises intelligent and expedient application of in-shop customer adjustments, exchanges, refunds, and returns.
Accurately inputs data into register to ensure adequate stock flow.
Assists Shop Manager in controlling all in-shop expenses in compliance with Corporate direction.
Assists Shop Manager in controlling payroll within guidelines following Corporate scheduling practices.
