About the Job
The Brookfield Convention and Visitors Bureau is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead all sales efforts of the organization including but not limited to conferences/meetings, sports/teams and group travel. The Brookfield CVB represents the greater Brookfield area and is dedicated to stimulating economic growth by increasing awareness along with visitor volume and expenditures to hotels, restaurants, retail and attractions through marketing, promotion and sales efforts. 2100+ hotel rooms, excellent conference spaces and many other attractions are all selling points for the greater Brookfield area.
The qualified candidate will possess 2+ years of sales background preferably in the tourism or hospitality industry and have a great understanding of conferences/meetings and special event promotion. Candidates must be highly skilled sales people with excellent organizational and promotional skills. Strong commitment to excellence as well as the ability to multitask and strive in a team environment are required.
