POSITION:     Sales Manager
DEPARTMENT:    Marketing
REPORTS TO:    General Manager
FLSA STATUS:     FT Exempt

Responsibilities:

• Sales of sponsorship programs to local and regional companies including all business categories. 
• Develop sponsorship packages and pricing.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and collateral materials.
• Oversee and ensure sponsor fulfillment.
• Work with Venue GM to create annual budgets, including sales forecasts and expenses.
• Assisting clients and internal colleagues to insure effective delivery of expected goals.
• Following up on client requests, concerns and problems.
• Maintaining a positive image with clients, colleagues and industry partners.
• Ensures successful sales activities while maintaining sales goals and objectives.
• Setting up and conducting site visits.
• Responding to inquiries and requests.
• Preparing contracts and other related administrative functions.
• Client Entertainment at events.
• Performing other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Must be willing to cold call and have the skills to both acquire new accounts and mange existing accounts.
• Computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong ability to identify opportunities, develops account strategies, and negotiates creative solutions.
• Proven team player.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Ability to travel and work various hours including, nights, weekends and holidays.
