Accountability Objective:

Identify, develop and maximize new and incremental OEM business opportunities with current accounts for the ADFORS business.

Principal End Results:

The incumbent will be responsible for identifying, developing and maximizing new and incremental OEM opportunities by selling value and innovative solutions to current accounts and industries. The candidate should have a thorough working knowledge and experience that includes:

  • A proven track record of building, managing and closing opportunities focusing on selling products related to reinforcement, filtration, construction etc.
  • Identify, pursue and close new prospects
  • Well developed organizational influence skills with the ability to work with people at all levels within the organization.
  • Conduct regular revenue and forecasting for developed accounts
  • Resolve customer issues and cultivate relationships.
  • Prepare and present formal proposals
  • Executes preplanned and organized sales calls.  
  • Prepares a yearly business review for presentation to buyers and senior management personnel with SG ADFORS Director of Sales or National Sales Manager.
  • Maintain necessary records for effective follow-up
  • Communicates to management the implementation, control and performance of marketing plans and actions
  • Maintains and controls expenses in line with corporate policies
  • Remains alert for competitive pricing, products and programs
  • Continues to update knowledge of products, applications and market conditions
  • Conducts price maintenance, contract and payment term compliance reviews
  • Provides written reports to keep management informed of activities
  • Completes other special projects as may be assigned from time-to-time

Nature and Scope:

Identify develop and maximize new and incremental business OEM market opportunities for the ADFORS business.  Pursue unique and incremental distribution for current and new products.


Position description


Background/Skills:

Bachelors degree in Business or Marketing with 3 to 5 years OEM sales experience.  The incumbent must be a talented all around communicator via phone, e-mail and in person and must possess strong sales and presentation skills.  Experience in working in a large matrix organization is a plus.  Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
