Sales Manager - Pipe Inspection Products

About the Job

Simulator Systems International (SSI), a leader in simulation and robotics systems, is seeking a qualified and energetic person for Sales Manager, Pipe Inspection Products.

SSI is introducing a well-established pipe inspection product line into the North American market.  These high-tech crawler inspection systems are used for video inspection and sophisticated measurement / crack detection and other analyzing of water / wastewater pipelines and other pipe, transport and drainage systems.

Customers include municipalities, water and waste water service, repair and inspection companies and government and private industries.

Primary responsibilities will include:

·         Manage all sales activities and accounts within North American territory.

·         Assist in the development and implementation of sales and marketing plans, literature, marketing materials, web site content, etc.

·         Perform direct sales by on-site demonstrations of products at customer locations and various trade shows and conferences.

·         Provide direct quoting of products.

·         Provide telephone and web-based sales activities.

·         Maintain customer contact sales database.

·         Help formulate and operate within budget.

·         Solicit input and feedback from customers to help evolve and expand product capabilities.

·         Provide monthly forecasts and sales opportunities.

·         Assist in customer support for product delivery information, spare parts, service and support, etc.

The ideal candidate would have the following experience and education:

·         Direct sales experience in pipline crawler video inspection systems and ancillary equipment.

·         Proven negotiation and sales experience in robotics and / or technical products.

·         Good oral and written communication skills / good bid specification writing skills.

·         Good presentation / demonstration / sales closing skills.

·         Good organizational / computer skills.

·         Direct experience in selling to municipal water and wastewater agencies.

Position is based out of our Tulsa, Oklahoma headquarters.  Position requires travel.  Candidate must pass drug test and complete background check.
