highly-motivated senior sales and business development professional to further
expand its regional and national market share.

Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for direct reports and evaluations
- Oversee sales team
- Work in conjunction with the sales team in order to resolve customer complaints
- Develop metric and KPIs for departmental performance
- Analyze market trends, advising upper management of noteworthy changes and developing the master business plan for sales
- Develop and implement proven broker network for sales and distribution of core product offerings
- Develop and implement proven broker network for sales and distribution of
core product offerings - Responsible for managing all distributors and clients located within the
territory - Develop commercial plans with distributors and clients located within the
territory - Set budgets and targets and brief brokers in strategies to be applied
- In conjunction with senior management, plan, organize and implement marketing
initiatives that will achieve the targeted sales and brokers objectives - Generate leads via trade shows, telephone soliciting, searching the internet,
reading trade publications and communication with trade associates - Propose the development, adaptation and/or changes to company’s current
product line - Plan in conjunction with brokers their scheduled purchases based on projected
requirements and the commercial plan - Follow-up and analyze projected monthly forecast: sales and volumes, issuing
the corresponding reports - Perform market research in order to detect opportunities, improve market
share, market penetration, etc. - Interpret leads and contact prospective customers and distinguish which
items are best suited for prospective customer - Quote prices by referring to company's costing model, checking the current
price listed in Aspen and/or creating a costing formula - Participate in trade shows and manage booth, photos and materials
- Enter orders, product information and all price changes
- Manage and coordinate the development and implementation of new labeling and
package designs
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Administration or Marketing or related field - 5+ years of sales experience / business development experience in the food
products / consumer goods industry with national client concentration - Knowledge and experience in retail sales of meat, snack type items including,
smoked summer sausage, sliced pepperoni, smoked meat snack sticks, fresh
chorizo - Leadership skills, creativity, energy and enthusiasm
- Ability to travel within the region (25%+) as required to support sales
objectives - Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in the utilization of
Microsoft Office’07 products
