An established company for 30 years and the premier distributor of famous ice cream, is seeking an excited and motivated employee to join our team!  

 





Summary Responsible for monitoring the performance of Sales
Merchandisers at retail level within assigned territory.



 



Essential Duties
and Responsibilities
include the
following. Other duties may be assigned.



 



Helps establish and monitors merchandising
guidelines.



 



Develops and maintains merchandising
routes and staff.



 



Maintains authorized product profiles by
customer and brand.



 



Coordinate reset schedules and participate
in them when necessary.



 



Develop promotional coverage schedules to
maximize sales while keeping cost in mind.



 



Responsible for the hiring, evaluation and
dismissal of all merchandisers within their territory.



 



Responsible for covering Sales
Merchandisers route during sick or vacation days either directly or by using a
combination of Sales Merchandisers and/or MRO.



 



Build a strong, professional, productive
relationship with store management and with manufacturer representatives.



 



Supervisory
Responsibilities
                                                



 



Directly supervises 8 to 10 employees in
the Sales Merchandising Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in
accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees;
planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and
disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or
Experience
                                               



 



Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year
college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be able to travel extended periods of
time including overnight travel.
