Sales & Operations Planning Process Manager (S & OP)
Our client, a manufacturing division of a global organization, is seeking an experienced S & OP Process Manager for its Tennessee operation. OVERVIEW:
Responsible for executing the Sales and Operations Planning, the S & OP Process Manager will facilitate plans to achieve output goals relative to capacity-resource-inventory in a custom-build, demand driven environment. (This is NOT a sales or sales/marketing position).
Develop/ maintain a monthly Master Schedule based on S&OP process outputs.
Coordinate orders based on material and capacity availability.
Provide monthly Supply Plans detailing expected product demand.
Identify trends and work with Materials to adjust master schedules.
Manage processes to determine accurate mix of products to be produced, new product introduction and work to phase-out excess/obsolete materials.
Manage short/ long term capacities minimizing past due orders.
Analyze/ report key production indicators. Implement specific improvement activities.
Track orders against marketing forecasts to ensure accuracy.
Investigate opportunities to better manage for higher turns and reduced inventory.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in Business/ related field, or equivalent work experience
APICS Certification preferred
5-10 years experience Master Scheduling and planning
Oracle experience. Oracle super user preferred
Strong foundation in statistical analysis techniques
The leadership skills necessary to manage the tasks of others not directly supervised.
