About the Job

IA Specialty Products, a Division of International Arts Group, based in Norcross, GA, has an immediate opening for a Sales/Project Manager.

 

IA Specialty Products sells and distributes shower doors, closet systems, vanities, kitchen cabinets, flooring, framed mirrors, TV Mirrors, Bath, Kitchen and Door hardware to name a few to Designer, Architects, General Contractors and Residential Builders.

 

Qualified candidates must take direction well, take initiative, possess a high energy level, must be organized, proactive, and possessing a willing and capable attitude.  Must also be a self-starter and self-motivated with a dependable and stable work record.

 

Duties:

  1. Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing objectives.
  2. Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
  3. Services existing customer accounts, obtains/writes orders and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call existing or potential customers.
  4. Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  5. Keeps management informed by submitting activity reports, daily call reports, weekly work plans and monthly territory analyses.
  6. Recommends changes in products, services and policy by evaluating competitive developments.
  7. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
  8. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
  9. Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing and new product development.
  10. Participate in the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials.
  11. Works with other IAG divisions to cross-sale products.

 

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

 

1.     Minimum of 2 years experience in selling specialty products preferred.

2.     Minimum of 2 years sales experience in selling to the residential building and multi-family housing markets helpful.

3.     High level of commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building.

4.     Good written and verbal skills as well as strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.

5.     Ability to work individually or as a team player.

6.     Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environments.

 

Preferred Skills:

 

1.     Professional cold calling skills and B2B development both on the telephone and on-site meetings.

2.     Experience selling to local builders and developers and multi-family housing.

3.     Excellent Follow-up and multi-tasking skills.

 

Computer Skills:

 

  1. Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel
  2. Knowledge of Quickbooks
