Career Opportunity

Educational technology company is seeking an outside sales rep for Southern Illinois. Position includes protected territory. The company has been in business over 10 years and their primary role is to build and manage a pipeline of opportunities comprised of the K-12 and Higher Education technology focused solutions. The company is dedicated to provide interactive teaching, learning and assessment of technology and services that assist educators to drive academic progress and give administrators the ability to analyze student performance data.


This company is looking for individuals who have a proven track record of over-achieving their sales quotas. The company also would consider a teacher who is looking to transition into a sales career, but still be focused on education.

The responsibilities for this position will include:

    • Meeting with district level administrators, IT, faculty and other key staff within any K-12 or Higher Education institution
    • Build relationships quickly in a high-tech environment

    • Overcoming customer objections

    • Assist in the demonstration and training on the products

 

The requirements for this position include:

    • The ability to build relationships quickly and close the sale in a high tech environment.
    • Highly professional oral and written communication skills.

    • PC proficiency including Microsoft Office applications.

    • Prior educational sales experience a plus.

    • Bachelors degree is preferred


The company will offer a week's training (expenses paid) and also provide an ongoing training program which will allow the right candidate to hit the ground running and enable them to make a superior income in the very first year. They will also provide all promotional material and tools to aid in your success.

This is a unique opportunity to manage your own career, work independently, and control your own schedule. You will be an independent sales rep, commission only (1099 position). The income potential is based on your own initiative.
