PSI Repair Services, Inc. (RSI) based in Livonia, Michigan, is a leader in the industrial repair services field. We are currently seeking a Sales Representative with established contacts in the Houston industrial market. In this role, you will promote and sell our repair services to manufacturing companies operating in the Houston area. As our Sales Representative, you will use your current contacts to shorten the sales cycle and gain immediate sales through your book of business. You will expand our current sales by promoting our services to new customers. You will also continue to develop established relationships with industrial accounts in support of our repair activities. As a part of the sales team, RSI Sales Representatives must represent Phillips Service Industries in a professional and ethical manner at all times, while maximizing territorial sales opportunities. The minimum level of expectation for this position is 100% of quota achievement. Primary Responsibilities: - Establish territory and specific account objectives
- Develop knowledge of RSI Services
- Achieve the annual sales quota
- Discover and visit potential customers
- Visit existing customers to discuss current programs and suggest new programs
- Quote prices, credit terms and other bid specifications
- Negotiate prices and terms of service agreements
- Maintain customer records using an automated system
- Plan and reserve hotel and transportation
- Communicate with Sales Manager and all inside support personnel
- Produce and submit weekly sales reports and expense reports
- Make presentations
- Identify prospective customers, following leads from existing clients, participate in organizations and clubs, attend trade shows and conferences
- Answer customers' questions about services, prices, availability and credit terms
- Emphasize service features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of service team capabilities and limitations.
- Select the correct services or assist customers in making service selections, based on customer needs, product specifications and applicable regulations
- Travel by car and airplane is required
Qualifications: Required: - 5+ years of Industrial Sales experience in the Houston Market.
Preferred: - Previous repair industry experience
- College degree in Business or related field
- Proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce.com CRM software
