Outside Sales Representative

About the Job

ProCore Solutions is currently hiring for an Outside Sales Representative to work in the Dallas, Hiram, Villa Rica and Carrollton area.  This candidate will be representing Gas South; one of the top 3 natural gas marketers in the state of Georgia and selling natural gas services to mid-market commercial accounts in their assigned territory. 

Ideal candidate will be sales driven and customer focused.  Must be willing to network in target areas and be involved in various community events to promote the company. 

This position is full time with benefits after 90 days.  Benefits will include Medical, Dental, Vision,  Life Insurance, Short Term and Long Term Disability.  This is a salary plus commission base pay with performance bonus program. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

•High School diploma plus some college is required.

•Three years’ business to business sales experience required.

•Proven track record in cold call, business to business selling.

•Outgoing and self-motivated with excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.

•Ability to work independently with attention to detail.

•Must have a clear driving record (MVR).

•Valid Georgia Driver’s License.

 •Must live in assigned territory.

PREFERRED:

•Bachelor’s degree in Business related field highly preferred.

•Basic knowledge of natural gas utility industry preferred.

  

RELATIONSHIPS:

•With client regarding sales territories, product requirements, etc.

•With potential customers to explain and sell gas services.

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Effectively makes business to business sales calls in assigned territory.

•Actively builds target list through networking, cold calls and territory activity.

•Communicates with sales prospects; effectively matches prospect’s needs with product offerings.

•Meets or exceeds minimum sales quotas each week.

•Presents and sells Gas South services to potential clients.

•Prepares action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made on a weekly basis.

•Follows up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity in a timely manner.


•Actively participates in territory's business associations and chamber in order to increase brand recognition and networking opportunities. 

•Maintains accurate record of client contact in sales database.

•Effectively identifies sales prospects and contacts these and other accounts, as assigned.

•Develops and maintains sales materials and current product knowledge.

•Establishes and maintains relationships with potential clients.

•Makes recommendations to management to improve current processes and procedures.

•Keeps Supervisor informed on issues or immediate needs that may impact the department.
