Sales Assistant

About the Job

Description: The Sales Representative will at all times operate to further the mission of the company, focused on delivering exceptional products with outstanding service.  In doing so, this position is responsible for developing new business relationships and clients.  They will serve as the first level of support and service to their own clients, as well as other clients and students, as necessary.  Sales Representatives will be responsible for monthly and quarterly sales goals.

 

Responsibilities:

-        Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, consistent with our Brand and Mission Statement.

-        Thorough understanding of eScience products and pricing

-        Provide outstanding service to all potential and current customers.

-        Grow the company sales and meet or exceed sales goals, as provided by the Sales Manager.

-        Research prospective clients through several strategies including internet research, trade show lists, referrals, various professional directories and personal investigation

-        Contact Prospective Clients

-        Consistently follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with delivery, quality and customer service

-        Retain practical knowledge of all eScience Labs Inc. services

-        Maintain and service existing accounts, while establishing future opportunities.

-        CRM Maintenance

-        Interact with professionals in the education and science fields through trade shows, personal meetings and various other means.

-        Creatively problem solve to improve current new business development strategy

-        Perform other special projects or duties when required

 

Skills/Qualifications:

-        2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the higher education market

-        Ability to build and sustain Customer Relationships

-        Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

-        Prospecting and Negotiation experience

-        Self Confidence

-        Knowledge of technology such as Google Mail, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel and database experience

-        Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills

-        Ability to work in collaboration with other members of the sales team.

-        Familiar with web presentation such as Go To Meeting/Google Hang out
