Drive Sales and GM growth by understanding the scientific supply requirements of the customers, then by responding with the VWR product and/or service offering that satisfies the customer’s needs. This process entails:
• Meeting with customers on a regular basis
• Preparing customer proposals and presentations
• Resolving any account issues in a timely fashion
• Detailing VWR product and service offering to laboratory personnel. This will involve coordinating sales efforts with key suppliers
• Managing the discount structure offered to customers
• Providing the necessary technical assistance and account service to assist the customer in sourcing their scientific supply needs through VWR
• Keeping current on VWR’s capabilities and product offering by reading the Market Reporter and other directed materials
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Highly motivated individual that has demonstrated the ability to produce results while working independently
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills are needed
• Familiarity with how laboratory functions and the supplies used within will be of tremendous benefit
• Experience in using Microsoft office package a plus

EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree - Science Major Preferred
