Inside Sales Manager-Life & Health Insurance Industry
Job Objective: Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market. Staffs and directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for clients and Account Executives.

Responsibilities:
- Manages the promotion and direction of the sales or service activities among Licensed Health &/or Life Insurance Sales Agents.
- Ensures that Agents keep informed of changes in territories that might affect product sales.
- Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist in promoting sales.
- Studies schedules and estimates time, cost, and labor estimates for completion of job assignments.
- Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as preparation of records of expenditures, progress reports, etc., in order to inform management of current status or sales activities.
- Acts as liaison between sales and other departments. Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volumes and potential sales.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team and to ensure company objectives are met.
- Recruits, tests, hires, and trains Licensed Health &/or Life Insurance Sales Agents based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
- Makes forecasts on anticipated sales.
- May direct staffing and training to develop sales program.
- Holds sales meetings.
Internal / External Cooperation
- Ensures that all Licensed Health &/or Life Insurance Sales Agents meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes.
- Delegates authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up.
- Sets examples for Supervisors and Licensed Health &/or Life Insurance Sales Agents in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
- Conducts regular coaching and counseling with Licensed Health &/or Life Insurance Sales Agents to build motivation and selling skills.
- Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
Job Specifications:
- Must have their Health &/or Life Insurance License (215, 216, and/or 218)
- Life and/or Health Sales experience preferred
- 5-7 years of experience in Sales Management
- Call Center experience a MUST
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing
- Extensive experience in all aspects of Relationship Management.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.
