SUMMARY
Oversee the Buying Groups daily activities, take an active role in growing department sales, and further penetrate and strengthen existing relationships. Ultimately be responsible for the profitability of the department.
ADMINISTRATIVE COACH
Responsible for implementing and training of all procedures and processes for Sales Support Specialists. Standardize and monitor all procedures so that they are being implemented in the most efficient manner. Assist sales coaches in the implementation of individual sales goals and performance measurements. Manage the day-to-day activities of the buying group sales department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Play an integral role in exploring new profit initiatives.
Possess the ability to effectively communicate with employees and customers on a daily basis.
Ability to prepare and present meaningful management reports.
Product knowledge or ability to track down information on a daily basis.
Take a proactive role in keeping management informed of department issues.
Able to process orders and the understanding of how each of the buying groups are structured.
Overall knowledge as to how the company’s computer system works on a daily basis.
Prepare annual employee evaluations.
Work with employees on ongoing industry education, on an as needed basis.
Complete understanding of DHPI's goals.
Coach & Monitor progress of Sales Support Specialist to ensure they have the systems training and resources to achieve their objectives.
