Sales Support Representative

Position Summary:

Provides support to sales staff in the achievement of set revenue in line with company objectives.  Responds to customer inquiries and requests

 

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Generating and provide customer quotations (verbally and in writing) as requested by the sales staff
  • Supporting the efficient promotion of differentiating Westcon value propositions through sales engagement (e.g., competitive research, preparing sales documents)
  • Entering customer orders for sales staff
  • Monitoring performance of allocated accounts and set achievable goals that will result in increased sales
  • Serving as a point of contact for customer inquiries regarding sales interactions
  • Serving as back-up to sales staff for answering incoming customer calls

 Qualifications:

  • Applicant must possess superb customer care abilities
  • Good communication skills
  • Positive attitude and desire to learn
  • Previous experience in a customer service role strongly preferred
  • Data entry experience required
  • Ability to use standard software:  MS Office Applications (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word)
