Assist with income tax compliance requirements

including support of consultants needs in completion of consolidated tax return.

Prepare state tax compliance requirements including preparation for

review of all state income tax return supporting information, estimated tax payments

and others as necessary.

Prepare for review all required sales and use tax filings as necessary and prepare/

assemble all documents necessary to support on audit by tax authorities.

Respond timely to all inquiries received from tax authorities concerning tax filings.

Maintain the tax compliance calendar for the department on a monthly basis by adding

new items where necessary and modifying the list as needed

Engage in critical thinking to interpret compliance filings and inject efficiency and 

improvement into the filing process. 

Seek innovative ways to streamline and improve current processes and methods of

filing all tax compliance items.

Perform required research to stay abreast of all recent developments in the tax compliance

area and incorporate any necessary changes or new procedures into the tax compliance process.
