The Salesforce Cloud Account Executive, will be responsible for selling Alternative’s Salesforce native CPQ and Connect applications and services to manufacturing and distribution companies. This person will be part of a high-performance team and will work in a fun and creative work environment. Responsibilities will include: building a strong pipeline, managing relationships with potential clients, networking, and running successful value focused sales campaigns.

Responsibilities
• Taking an Entrepreneurial approach to building revenue streams
• Generating Salesforce application and service revenue through direct selling efforts
• Identifying and qualifying prospective clients within the manufacturing and distribution space
• Maintaining relationships within the Salesforce Account Executive community
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, prospects, partners and industry influencers
• Managing pipeline and opportunities in Salesforce
• Assisting in building a referenceable base of clients
• Negotiating potentially large, long term contracts that are highly impactful to our clients business

Qualifications
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, B2B sales environment a must
• Knowledge of Salesforce, AppExchange, Salesforce1 and applications strongly preferred
• Understanding of manufacturing and distribution business a plus
• Technical configuration and integration knowledge preferred
• Presentation and relationship skills a MUST
• Experience with selling cloud platforms against on-premise systems beneficial
• User experience with Salesforce CRM would be helpful
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite of products
• Marketing and demand-generation skills needed
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
• Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with a 24/7 mentality; self-motivated and hard-working
• Degree preferred
