Position Description

Analyze needs
of the target audience, study data and conduct in-depth interviews with subject
matter experts to understand the products and uses, produce graphic content for
reports, edit, standardize, or revise material prepared by other team members,
prepare rough drafts of requirements documents and plans for review with the
project staff and customers.

Technical
environment of work: Web tier: Java 6, Tomcat 6.x, JSP, Struts 2, iBATIS,
Spring, JDBC; UI Tier: Struts tags, Javascript, Dojo; Data tier: Oracle
(10.2x/11), Postgres, MySQL; RedHat Enterprise LINUX.

Required Skills

6 years experience
writing IT system requirements and design documents; maintaining version
control; collecting and analyzing requirements data; VISIO or other related
software; graphics software. Expert with MS Office. Expert. Must show samples
as requested. 

Education

BA/BS in Technical
Writing, related field, or equivalent experience.
