Job Description: Job Description Plan, conduct, analyze, and document experiments necessary to support Point of Care Diabetes product line. Candidate will collect, analyze, summarize, and document reagent and instrument performance data associated with product/process improvements, customer complaints, and problem investigationss . Candidate will lead or participate in cross-functional teams with Global Product Support, OEM Product Managers and Marketing to provide technical results, assess their business impact, and communicate the results to the organization . The incumbent will also participate in design transfer team activities for a new urinalysis product manufacturing line.
Specific Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related sciences with at least 4-6 years experience. Master's degree desirable * Experience with Diabetes products and clinical chemistry * Strong chemistry background and Six Sigma/ Lean project experience desired. * Demonstrated Team Leadership skills * Experience in manufacturing process capability assessment and improvement. * Competence in experimental design and data interpretation. * Ability to independently plan, perform, analyze and document laboratory work. * Ability to understand and utilize laboratory data collection applications * Ability to prepare and fully understand data analysis reports and testing protocols. * Experience in participating or leading cross-functional problem solving teams * Competence in Microsoft Office applications, Minitab, and basic statistics. * Good problem-solving skills. * Understanding of Good Laboratory Practices and the Quality System Environment. * Good oral and written communication skills.
