Job Description:
Mammalian cell culture. Generation of stable cell lines. Perform transient transfections in CHO, HEK293, and NS0 mammalian cell lines for protein production. Develop and optimize novel techniques for both transient and stable mammalian cell lines. Work with various types of cell lines. V-gene cloning from hybridoma and generation of chimeric antibodies. Binding epitope mapping. Evaluation, interpretation and communication of experimental results. Maintain an orderly laboratory notebook in accordance with company SOPs. Effective interaction with colleagues. Provide support for daily laboratory functions as-needed
Job Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Biology or related discipline with 5-10 years of industry experience. Experience with developing of antibody therapeutics (cloning, analyzing, humanizing, binding epitope mapping. Tissue culture sterile technique. Molecular biology, PCR, RT-PCR and cloning experience. Experience in culturing of hybridoma; experience in developing hybridoma is a plus. Working knowledge of mammalian expression systems including CHO, HEK293, NS0. Working knowledge of transient and stable transfection protocols, various bioreactors, medium optimization, and cell bank. Ability to multi-task and to organize and communicate large amounts of data. Flexible and the ability to work in a team environment under deadlines. Good oral and written communication skills
