Job Description:
The CT Scientific Collaboration group is currently searching for a highly motivated individual to take a Scientific Collaboration Manager position based Malvern, PA. covering luminary sites in the North East area. The ideal candidate can live anywhere between Boston and Philadelphia. The Scientific Collaboration Manager position requires a broad skill set that allows an individual to develop new techniques with collaborators, to facilitate collaboration with academic partners, to drive joint projects, and to keep collaborators informed about the Siemens product portfolio.

Specific requirements:
- Strong scientific and technical background in medical imaging (Physics, Image Post-Processing, Clinical Applications)
- Knowledge in designing and evaluating clinical studies and scientific publications
- Excellent presentation skills to communicate results and new developments to top collaborators, internal audiences, and Siemens CT Leadership
- Excellent communication for daily interaction with top collaborators and Siemens staff
- Experience in working in a clinical and interdisciplinary environment
- Ability to take project leadership
- Ability to think outside the box, to identify innovative applications, develop own, creative solutions
- Understanding of the requirements of product development
- Track milestones and deliverables of research projects
- Willingness to travel both nationally and internationally (50% of the time)

Daily tasks:
- Manage scientific collaborations at luminary institutions and drive joint projects
- Keep customers informed about the Siemens technologies
