POSITION: Search Engine Marketing Coordinator
Job Description:
Local.com is looking for a Search Engine Marketing Coordinator with experience in dealing with 1st and 2nd tier search engines, and who will play an integral role in Local.com’s traffic acquisition strategy.
This person is responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing search engine marketing efforts, as well as other CPC driven marketing initiatives. The Search Engine Marketing Coordinator must be proactive, with strong sense of accountability and a day to day focus on bottom line results. This role requires strong analytical skills with a strategic and methodical approach to monitoring and improving ROI for all advertising outlets, plus strong creative skills in the development and testing of ad copy. This individual also must continuously identify and evaluate new opportunities for growth and manage all aspects of existing accounts from implementation, optimization, to reporting and analyses. In addition to the above skill sets, the Search Engine Marketing Coordinator must also have strong communication skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with members from various departments within the organization (i.e. sales, engineering, and product), as well as have to ability to represent Local.com in a professional manner to its clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize our current search engine partnerships
- Develop a strategy for growth and scalability within each partner
- Work with partners for insight on traffic growth, beta rollouts, and new marketing verticals
- Identify new opportunities and present a testing road map and expected performance for new verticals and new terms
- Ability to analyze and forecast ROI and spend projections for finance
- Work closely with the business development team to develop traffic acquisition plans for Local.com’s corporate clients
- Develop traffic acquisition strategy to promote Local.com B2B products
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience with Search Engine Marketing and expert knowledge on search engine advertising platforms (i.e. Ad words, Panama, Ad center, etc)
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or relevant work experience
- Advanced knowledge with Excel (i.e. pivot tables, formulas, lookups, referencing)
- Strong Analytical skills a must
- Detail oriented with strong communication skills
- Ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics and make decisions regarding campaign direction based on analysis
- Self starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
