Accreditation Engineer

TCS seeks a Sr. Certification and Accreditation (C&A) Engineer with
strong interpersonal, writing, and technical skills.  As a successful recruit, you will oversee and direct the entire
Accreditation effort on a variety of sensitive military and commercial
systems.  You will interact directly
with developers and program managers to identify the steps required to take
these systems through the C&A process. 
You will coordinate with TCS staff and customers to create C&A
documentation and facilitate security testing to achieve successful
accreditation.  This position is a

Location:                Herndon VA (near Dulles Airport)

Education:             Bachelors Degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or
equivalent preferred)

Requirements: 

·        
3 to
5+ years of experience with Accreditation requirements (DITSCAP, DIACAP, DCID
6/3, and/or NIST 1253), including at least one year leading a Accreditation
project.

·        
Strong
technical writing, customer interaction, and team management skills.

·        
Strong
knowledge of information security requirements.

·        
Proven
ability to work and coordinate with multiple groups, including accreditors,
certifiers, and end users.

·        
Prefer
experience with cross-domain solution technology and C&A proceses (e.g., SABI,
TSABI, and local accreditation.

·        
Prefer
experience leading project and/or preparing project plans as well as
prioritizing several assignments.

·        
Dependable,
motivated, self-starting team player.

Responsibilities:       

·        
Work
with world-class software developers and C&A engineers to create C&A
project plans to take state-of-the art TCS products through Defense
Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the National Security Agency (NSA) C&A processes.

·        
Interact
directly with customers and certifiers/accreditors to facilitate the C&A
process for TCS solutions in customer environments.

·        
Coordinate
with TCS staff and customers to create C&A documentation and facilitate
security testing to achieve successful accreditation.

·        
Work
collaboratively on an interdisciplinary team, including accreditors,
certifiers, engineers, and end users.

·        
Identify
and lead C&A process improvements.
