Human Resources/Training Manager
A premiere national contract security services company seeks a human resources and employee development professional to support its growing Hartford Connecticut division. The position will be responsible for employee recruiting, selection, benefits administration, payroll, scheduling and employee development/training.
Viable candidates must have the following minimum qualifications for consideration:
· College graduate
· 10 years of human resources and training experience, preferably in the corporate or contract security environment
· 3 years as a human resource and/or training director
· Superior oral, written and computer communications skills with experience in dealing with employee issues, benefits and employment practices
· Direct experience in creating and facilitating employee, supervisory and specialized training courses
· Mature, polished demeanor
· CPR/First Aid instructor-certified or the ability to obtain this certification
· SHRM professional designation a plus
The successful candidate must have a proven track record of achievement in selecting qualified employees, maintaining high employee retention, training employees for success and preventing, mitigating and managing employee-related issues. He or she must also have direct experience in benefits administration, EEOC/OSHA compliance, payroll administration, employee shift scheduling, and developing and facilitating training programming. At the same time, candidates must demonstrate the ability to create a positive employee-focused work culture for our diverse portfolio of accounts and the employees who work at them.
We offer a base annual salary of $40,000 – 55,000, depending on experience, a generous industry-leading benefits package and unlimited financial and career growth in one of the nation’s fastest growing and unique security companies.
