Security Patrol Officer
About the Job
Vescom Corporation is looking for security officers for our account located in Port Hudson, LA. Pay is $8.50 to $9.50 per hour to start. Full time 40 hours per week. Shifts Available: 1500 to 2300 or 2300 to 0700. Uniforms are provided. Full-time employees are eligible for major medical, dental, vacation and personal hours. Will be the eyes, ears and nose for safety and security matters; will be walking, standing, driving golf carts and other patrol vehicles. Answering phones, checking incoming and out- going vehicles. Checking doors, gates, etc. Reliable transportation to and from work is a must.
Requirements include: Valid Class C Driver's License High School Diploma or G.E.D. 18 years or older Clean Criminal History Clean Motor Vehicle Record Pre-employment drug testing and background checks are conducted Must be able to become licensed in the state of LA as a security officer Preferred Skills: at least 12 months of security experience, Prior military or law enforcement experience.
