Akimeka, LLC, a Native-Hawaiian Company, has a great opportunity for a Systems Requirements Analyst in Falls Church, VA. The Systems Requirements Analyst will be primarily involved in the planning, requirements, and design stages of multiple web application projects. The candidate will derive security requirements, business rules, and design options from high level guidance/requirements provided by DoD customers. The candidate will also clarify and create accurate requirements/business rules for already existing system functionality. The Systems Analyst will work with development and quality assurance staff to determine whether requirements and business rules are sufficiently defined to both develop and test to.
This contract requires the team to design, develop (and integrate other Government Off The Shelf (GOTS), and/or Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) products as approved or provided by the Government), test, deliver, then operate and maintain software solutions that will allow users of Military Health System (MHS) applications to seamlessly move between approved applications at the point of care. Full deployment of this capability will require services to an estimated 3,000 users in Theater (active combat theaters under USCENTCOM) and an additional 75,000 users in Garrison (all other CONUS and overseas commands). There are expected to be approximately 1,800 and 30,000 concurrent users, in Theater and Garrison, respectively. Based on recommendation of the selected services contractor and other independent evaluations, the Government may purchase required COTS products for integration into the solution proposed by the Contractor.
The candidate will utilize the System Requirements Specification (SRS) as the primary area of storage for system requirements and business rules. As such, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining SRS documentation. The candidate may also be involved with the creation of system design documentation.
