We are excited to seek a National Account Manager-Central for stable and growing private equity-owned organization.
This company has grown at a 15% CAGR over the past 6 years. They have grown from $70 million to $165 million in 7 years. All of this has been done in an industry that in unit volume has shrunk in size. They have brought the best practices of consumer product marketing and sales to an industrial business.
The National Account Manager is responsible for the entire range of sales activities for all National Accounts in the Central Region (From North Dakota to Texas).
DUTIES
· Manage the national account sales activities for the Central Region by performing the following duties.
· Establish and maintain high-level relationships with our clients largest customers
· Conduct top-top sales presentations and business reviews.
· Advise customers (distributors and end users) concerning sales and advertising techniques.
· Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales managers and representatives.
· Coordinates account management activities (pre and post close) with General Managers and Territory Managers.
· Partners with industry equipment integrators to develop leads through selling and marketing synergy.
· Understands all phases of the business. Helps coordinate activities to execute the “deal” and process orders to the customer’s satisfaction.
· No direct reports, however, must be perceived as a leader and accomplish goals through others
PERSONAL SKILLS-REQUIREMENTS
· 7-15 years of sales experience (packaging related industries NOT required).
· Experience as a national account manager (managing key relationships within fortune 500 accounts. “High, deep, wide”) proven track record growing business across multiple departments within large, national entities.
· Experience selling a high volume consumable or renewable product preferred.
· Ok WITH Minimum travel 70%.
