


Performs customer service for assigned generally more complex select insurance (commercial accounts of <$10,000 annual revenue and employee benefits accounts of <50 lives) accounts and issues, providing information, answering questions, performing research, reviewing accounts, coordinating renewals and ensuring customer satisfaction. Operates independently with input from more experienced personnel in more unusual situations. Sells, cross-sells and offers additional insurance products to existing customers. Ensures customer account information is up-to-date and complete. May occasionally perform processing work as needed. Ensures that own work, as well as work of any employees supervised, is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies located on Company intranet; policies include but are not limited to Fair Lending, Know Your Customer, Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering policies.
Requirements:
Insurance licensing required (Property and Casualty and/or Life and Health) and professional designation preferred. Continuing education required on an ongoing basis. High School Diploma or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required. 2-3 years related experience required. Knowledge of wide array of insurance products and services. Negotiation/sales skills. Relationship development skills. Organizational skills, including ability to prioritize work. Problem solving skills, including ability to research and resolve customer account issues. Attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. PC skills. Knowledge of Agency Management Systems and quoting engines preferred.
