Job Description:
You will be the Senior ASP Web Developer working within a team of professionals at a financial services company based in the Phoenix west valley area.​ As the lead company website developer, you will be the key person developing and supporting the company's public-facing website.  In addition to supporting the company's public-facing website, you will also be part of the company's web development team, developing and supporting the classic ASP and ASP.NET versions of the company's web-based products.​

In this role, you will develop, test and maintain the company's public-facing website and its supporting MS SQL database.  You will perform code analysis, development, testing and maintenance activities of all website scripting, and work closely with senior company management to implement their website design directives.​ You will collaborate with other company web developers to guarantee uniform functionality of the company's ASP-based web applications with their counterparts coded in different web languages.  You will work in a web development lab environment and be responsible for driving results on a multitude of projects.​ You will be responsible for managing your time in accordance with aggressive development deadlines, best practices, and a quality /​ delivery methodology that includes development standards.​ The ability to multi-task and meet established deadlines is a must.

This is a Mac-based office with a strict business dress standard (shirt and tie, business suit, etc).​  Preference will be given to individuals with previous banking, financial services, or financial security related experience.  Cross-language development expertise is a plus, but not absolutely required (C#.net, JSP, PHP, VB.Net,Coldfusion).  Flash development experience is also a plus, but not absolutely required.

Required Skills/Qualifications:
5+ years Dreamweaver (Mac version used).
8+ years Classic ASP / ASP.Net development experience.
8+ years CSS Style Sheets.

Secondary Skills:
MS SQL 2005.
Javascript / AJAX / JSON.
XML experience.
Flash ActionScript 3.0 (a big plus!).
Fireworks CS4 graphic design experience.

Education Required:
BS or Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.  Work experience will be considered in lieu of degree, but this is a senior level position (i.e. recent college grads need not apply).

Hiring Process:
This is a contract-to-hire position.  Candidate will be initially hired on a 1099 basis with no benefits.
