Senior Account Executive - Event Marketing

Legacy Marketing Partners, a rapidly growing, successful experiential and event marketing agency is seeking a strong Senior Account Executive (SAE), with proven event marketing and digital background and leadership skills, to oversee management of a QSR account.  The SAE will oversee and monitor the day-to-day flawless execution of various diverse events as well as content management of digital programming. The SAE’s role includes, but is not limited to, working closely with the account team to ensure that client needs and expectations are met and exceeded and working closely with the account team to develop long term strategies to build our client’s business. Knowledge of African American culture a plus. The SAE plays a key role in developing Account Executives and Coordinators.


 


Responsibilities


 


·        Assist in concept development, management and implementation of all aspects of client events


·        Coordinate and oversee on-site execution of staff and programs, ensuring smooth, flawless execution


·        Source, develop and produce all programming materials


·        Manage digital content and projects, to ensure projects are delivered in a timely, accurate manner.


·        Coordinate event logistics, agendas and timelines


·        Develop strategies to increase brand-building activity


·        Assist in the execution of sound relevant experiential marketing strategies in coordination with account team


·        Proactively approach and anticipate internal and external concerns and maintain level of flexibility to quickly respond to changing client demands


·        Source and manage multiple vendor, supplier relationships required for events


·        Create, manage and track budgets; monitor all expenditures to stay within budget parameters; communicate necessary changes to supervisor/senior management


·        Ensure company standards, policies and procedures are maintained at every level of client activity and internally


·        Provide leadership for account staff and other departments working on the account; mentor  account staff, strive to fine tune, develop strengths and address potential areas of concern


·        Create and track metrics for measuring success of programs


·        Provide clients with timely, accurate reporting


·        Take proactive approach to anticipating internal and external concerns and maintaining level of flexibility to quickly respond to changing client demands


·        Daily contact clients; responding to and managing client requests and maintaining open and frequent communication

Position Requirements


 


·        Mininum 2-3 years program experience in a digital capacity and 3-5 years’ relevant event management, and/or event marketing experience


·        Proven project and content management skills


·        Knowledge of African American culture a plus


·        Category experience required


·        Bachelor’s degree required with preferable focus in hospitality, event management or tourism administration


·        Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills


·        Keen attention to detail and extremely organized


·        Must be available for travel


·        Computer proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
