Senior Account Executive, Solutions

About the Job

Basic function or purpose of this position: 


 


The Account Executive will be part of a Professional Services Line of Business sales team responsible for the sale of Professional Services and Solutions. This is an outside sales position. This position will also be responsible for acquiring new clients and ensuring strong client relationships, client retention, and value creation measurement.


 


 


Principal responsibilities of this position:

 


§  Prospecting:  Prospect for new business within our marketplace as directed by Management


§  Sales:  Identify, qualify, prepare proposals and statements of work, and close complex solutions that are “on strategy” for the Firm


§  Pipeline:  Generate a pipeline of business large enough to satisfy quota goals (with focus on assigned accounts)


§  Sales Goals:  Consistently exceed sales quota goals


§  Marketing:  Effective marketing of the Firm’s Professional Services solutions


§  Relationship Management:  Gain and retain strong relationships with prospects, clients and groups in the marketplace (e.g., community and industry groups)


§  Market Trends:  Study market trends to identify opportunities with the local market


§  Cross-Serving of the Firm’s product and consulting offerings


§  Core Competency:  Help build the sales function as a core competency of the Firm


 


 


Specialized knowledge required for this position, including licenses and/or certifications:


 


§  How to give prospects/clients reasons to buy our Professional Services solutions


§  Knowledge of the family of the firm's solution offerings


§  Understanding of the firm's business operations and processes


§  Broad-based knowledge and training in successful sales programs


§  Ability to identify and design Professional Services solutions 


§  Understanding of growth opportunities in our markets (both organic and acquisitive)


§  Knowledge of client business and industry


§  Critical understanding of the changes affecting the consulting industry


§  Competitive knowledge of other professional service firms and vendors
