Our Sunnyvale office has an opportunity for a proven PR professional with 4-6 years of PR experience to join our team as a Senior Account Executive. Ideal candidates have previous technology experience and are motivated, proactive team players who are strong in account management, media relations and writing. Senior Account Executives serve as a primary day-to-day client contact and provide support to multiple account teams, efficiently servicing each of these accounts simultaneously. They manage the flow of work and information to the account team, and possess a thorough understanding of the client's business, industry, and PR issues.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Secure coverage in key local and trade media outlets by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with media.
· Generate new ideas and opportunities to ensure client program success.
· Provide strategic counsel to clients while managing implementation of a variety of projects and client budgets.
· Draft media relations materials.
· Manage industry analyst relations program.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree; 4-6 years related professional experience.
· Ideal candidates have experience within a PR agency environment.
· Experience working on PR programs utilizing both traditional and new/social/digital media PR tactics is highly desired.
· Strong media relations skills and client interactions skills.
· The ability to contribute to strategic thinking and the development and execution of PR programs.
· Strong leadership, supervisory and management skills are essential.
· Previous technology experience a plus.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, on-line services, and AP style writing is essential.
