Position Summary:
The Senior Account Executive will manage the development of local marketing plans in Charlotte as well as other markets designed to launch a new product offering. The position demands extensive (100%) travel as it requires on-site staffing for in-market events. It will work closely with the Account Director and Group Director who oversee the account day-to-day, as well as with key players from the client team and other agency partners. This position has significant personnel and project management responsibilities and requires a desire to work as part of a team, but the capability to solve problems independently.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Responsibilities will involve managing the implementation of a grassroots mobile marketing campaign in the select market
· Devise and execute strategies for getting the maximum number of interactions with the client’s product including negotiating local event partnerships that allow for maximum interactions for the lowest cost
· Identify and manage outside vendors associated with executing the ovreall program
· Manage 3-4 brand ambassadors in the local market
· Create and maintain all budgets and timelines associated with the program
· Integration with key client departments
· Liaison with Sprint agency partners (advertising, media, online, etc) for related programming.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelors Degree in a related field
· Minimum of 3 years in a traditional marketing role, field marketing a must
· Experience in creating strategic marketing plans involving grassroots/mobile marketing experience a plus
· Excellent communication skills
· Experience analyzing data to build successful promotions
· Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple projects
· Experience managing a team and working in a collaborative environment
· Computer proficiency, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Wireless industry experience a plus
· Ability to work long hours and travel on weekends
