Denham Resources seeks a Senior Affiliate Manager for an exciting opportunity with huge upside and potential for growth for the right candidate.
SUMMARY
The Senior Affiliate Manager will play a key role in our objective to aggressively penetrating new online markets
and maximizing our current presence in existing channels. The candidate will be expected to identify market trends,
use that information to help develop media strategy, and effectively buy media according to that strategy. This
includes but not limited to producing competitive analysis, conducting informal surveys amongst the publisher base,
writing 30-60-90 day plans, and contributing to Creative brainstorming sessions. Because the Senior Affiliate
Manager will be entrusted with making purchasing decisions, the candidate must be comfortable operating in a
complex, fast changing, high-pressure environment. The Senior Affiliate Manager will have P&L responsibilities
for their own portfolio of accounts, so analytical skills and being profitability-minded is key. The candidate is
expected to bring solid online experience, strong relationship building skills, and an eagerness to be successful to
help contribute to the growth of the organization.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• Must be articulate have excellent written communication skills internally and externally.
• Possess a strong work ethic and a sincere sense of urgency and accountability for oneself.
• Must compliment aggressive sales personality with a solid product understanding and strong analytical
mindset.
• Highly metrics driven and comfortable with extensive statistical analysis.
• Must be detail-oriented, well organized, and able to multi-task effectively.
• BA/BS degree required.
• At least 3-6 years of online marketing experience, specifically in the online marketing, direct response, or
affiliate marketing space.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for managing P&L of a Medium to Large account portfolio – drive analysis, business
relationships, and media buying decisions to reach monthly account goals.
• Assist the Director of Business Development to define the Sales and Media Strategy.
• Develop creative business solutions that improve revenue streams within the portfolio
• Contribute to improving departmental processes such as lead prospecting, sales pitches, product training,
etc.
• Develop keen understanding of all products in the marketing portfolio.
• Work collaboratively with Product, Monetization, and Technology Teams and provide account/channel
level insights that will help drive improvements to the product.
• Possible day to day management of junior level Affiliate Managers to improve their individual
performance.
