Senior Account Services Rep - Questar - Minneapolis, MN

Job Purpose/Role
This position will provide leadership and direction on processing of applications for variable annuities, mutual funds, equity indexed annuities and all other direct sponsor company applications. In addition, this position will be responsible for handling escalated registered representative issues, train new team members, assist with updating of procedures and assist with system testing of our back office for any upgrades.



Key Responsibilities
-Process incoming sponsor company applications (variable annuities, variable life, REIT applications, 529 applications. This will include review of forms for accuracy, keying information and following up on missing requirements. Provide leadership to team regarding questions and special issues in processing.
-Responsible for handling escalated rep issues and resolving in a professional manner. Will work with our top reps in helping with any issues pertaining to New Business.
-Responsible for check log for AML ensuring checks processed in timely manner and all accounted for, assist with Remit Pro another AML policy procedure and back up for held commission issues.
-Provide training and coaching for new team members. This will also include assisting with ensuring procedures are accurate and up to date.
-Track New Business numbers: app counts, trends, scoreboard data for the New Business team
-Assist and be involved in system testing and projects affecting New Business team.

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
-4-6 securities industry experience, with Operations experience preferred.
-Must be detail oriented.
-Able to manage time and independently organize priorities.
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment and under strict time constraints.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-High school degree required; college degree preferred.
-Series 6 or 7 securities licensing preferred.
