We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Indianapolis, IN Audit team. As a Senior Accountant, you are responsible for carrying out all fieldwork during an engagement while beginning to establish more personal and direct working relationships with client management and developing supervisory knowledge and experience. Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Performing various accounting and auditing tasks and accounting practices to ensure accurate and reliable data and client satisfaction through high quality service deliverables.
- Creating and managing effective interpersonal relationships, including assisting in the supervision, utilization, and training of staff accountants.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or a minimum of 3 years previous experience as a Staff Accountant in a public accounting firm
- CPA Certification preferred, but not required
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to travel up to 30%, including overnight travel, to client locations
